Heather Lang-Cassera

Heather Lang-Cassera is Clark County, Nevada, Poet LaureateEmeritus (2019-2021) and was named Las Vegas’ 2017 “Best Local Writer” by thereaders of Nevada Public Radio’s Desert Companion. Heather holds amaster of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a Certificate in LiteraryTranslation from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a founder of and theSenior Editor for Tolsun Books and is the World Literature Editor and aliterary critic for The Literary Review. She serves Nevada StateCollege as a Lecturer teaching College Success and Creative Writing and as afaculty advisor for their literary magazine, 300 Days of Sun. Herfull-length collection of poems, Gathering Broken Light, was publishedin 2021 with Unsolicited Press.
