Dan Hernandez
Dan Hernandez is a writer and editor based in Tucson, Arizona. He earned an MFA in creative writing at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and has served as the managing editor of Witness and as a senior editor at Central Recovery Press. He won the Richard J. Margolis Award in 2015 as a promising new writer whose work shows a concern with social justice. His nonfiction can be found in the New York Times, the Guardian, Vice, and other publications. His fiction has appeared in Catapult, Carve, the Offing, and Day One.
